5.21.08 -- NEW DREAD REVIEW AT RPG.NET
David Artman has posted a review of Dread at RPG.net. Giving the game an 8 out of 10, he writes, "Dread can't be beat in the splatter-punk, horror genre. This is not your Buffy or even Angel. Dread is METAL, like the incarnation of classic 80s and 90s heavy metal album covers." To read the rest of the review, click here.

Tom Bagwell has posted a review of the new edition of Dread. Interestingly, he gave the game 7 out of 10, the same score that he gave the first edition. His review notes that Dread is "an excellent pick for a demon-hunting blast ‘em up game -- simple mechanics, graphic but effective magic, and highly original and evocative demons to track down in a modern setting." 1.23.08 -- NEW REVIEW OF DREAD
2008 starts with a bang, as the merciless RPGPundit posts his review of Dread over on theRPGsite. The comment thread is here. He writes: "These are just three examples of the various demon types. They're all very creative, and without a doubt the best part of the book; I could see them being generally useful for any Horror game, and possibly for other types of fantasy or sci-fi genre games. They are similar and yet different to both classic demons and lovecraftian 'old ones', and what stands out about them are not stats or special powers, but the uniqueness of their styles and methods."
1.23.08 -- NEW ACTUAL PLAY REPORT
Over at Story Games, Kobayashi has posted The Good, the Bad, and the Disciple, an amazing actual play report. It's Dread as you've never seen it: demon hunting in the Wild West. Check it: "The players arrive when the Demon has made his troops kidnap all the males inhabitants of a mexican village. They first think a band of outlaws may be responsible, but after a combat with them they find about the involvement of the Jaguar warriors. It doesn't take long for them to find an hidden Aztec city, fight Jaguar warriors and send the demon back to hell."
1.11.08 -- SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT DREAD!
